Match Report Press Report

Chichester Vets 3 Lost to Lee-on-Solent Vets 2 in a close match.

With the home team having higher Gradings in 2 of the strings, the match was always going to be in their favour. The away team proved the statisticians wrong though by clinching a great win.

On paper, the number 2 string should have been the closest, with only 39 ranking points separating the two players before the match. The Away player, Neil Moore, did well therefore to secure the win.

It was the number 3 String which turned out to be the most competitive, with the Players battling out over a total of 133 Points ! Victory finally going to the Away Player, Keith Barron.

Player of the match must be the Away number 3 string, Keith Barron, who over-turned a 40 ranking points disadvantage to record a great win.

If the Away No. 1 player, Pete Nisbet, had not had to withdraw after 3 game(s) the result could have been closer.
